Two middle-aged dads from Portland walk on stage with nothing. No script. No plan. Just one suggestion from the audience. Then they build an entire world: characters, relationships, betrayals, dad jokes, and moments of genuine tenderness that have no business being in a comedy show. Oh, that audience also laughs.
DADVICE is a longform improv duo from Portland, Oregon. The dads met at Curious Comedy Theater, made each other laugh, and now perform internationally. None of this was planned. Their families tolerate it.
Ryan Gantz designs websites, enjoys waving his long arms, and spends a lot of time staring at his lawn. Matt Keeslar used to get blown up in horror movies, and now plays the guitar and prescribes sleep medicine, usually at different times.
Their show is simple: one suggestion from the audience becomes an entire improvised world — characters, relationships, betrayals, dad jokes, and moments of genuine tenderness that have no business being in a comedy show. You will most likely enjoy it.
